Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams remain the number one ranked male and female tennis players after successful outings at the Australian Open.
Djokovic extended his lead at the top of the rankings, thanks to second placed Roger Federer‘s shock 3rd round exit.
Serena Williams’ 19th grandslam also ensured that she’d saw off second-placed Maria Sharapova, who she won in the final.
